In this workshop, participants create masks and other accessories using agave wood, a resource that is naturally available, environmentally-friendly and easy to use.
This activitiy is at once an artistic, environmental and cultural initiative that seeks to raise awareness about the rich African and Iberian heritage of mask making. The masks and accessories are subsequently sold, thus contributing to the sustainability of the project, or used on stage as props during BYP’s performances.
